The first category was the under 12 group and all the
kids received a prize, which I thought was a really great idea. |
|
The three judges each gave their individual
awards. First was the Dual Monsters girls.
Below, Redneck Ryoga and the Pikachu bunch get their
special judge's prize. |
|
|
Next Steve gets up and presents his special award.
Over the years, I've seen Steve give out many special awards and I think he
always makes a good call. This year was no different. These girls really did
a great job with their costumes. |
|
|
Next up is Asuka Langly Soryu for best walk on. I
didn't get a good individual shot of her this time, but you can see a much
better photo of her from my MegaCon page.
Below, the FF7 group gets the best skit award. |
|
|
Pudding from Tokyo Mew Mew received the best costume
award. I'm really glad she got her due. This dear girl stayed perfectly in
character the entire day, that tray never left her hand.
Below, the Paper got the best "Playing to the Crowd"
award. This was another one that I thought was perfectly deserved. |
|
And finally, Radical Edward gets the best overall
prize. Once again, I thought the judges were spot on. Great work, guys!!
And with this award, that pretty much brought the day
to a close for us, and we headed back home once again. |
