Anime Express has come a long way since the first convention back in '97. At the first con, they had a total of two ninjas who were actually part of the staff. Now there are dozens of cosplayers roaming the halls during the entire convention.

Here we have the lovely Belldandy in her goddess robe.

No cosplay is complete without a Sailor Moon reference. To fill that role is Makoto Kino as Sailor Jupiter.

Lower right is Asahina Mutsuki from Haunted Junction.

Inu-Yasha, the demon dog, and Sango, both characters from, what else, Inu-Yasha

The only two worth mentioning here are Aaron on left and Aerithchan as HUnewearl from Phantasy Star Online on the right.

Utena from Revolutionary Girl Utena and Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura. Then Sakura-chan is joined by her mom, Sakura-chan, holding little sister, Kero-chan.

The only one missing is Himura Kenshin himself. Left to right, Yahiko, Saito, Sanosuke and Kaoru, all from the Rurouni Kenshin series.

Below left are some self-designed coplayers. To the right is a truly excellent portrayal of Cere-cere from Sailor Moon SuperS.
