You know an anime convention has really
matured when the cosplay contest is no longer the one and only highlight of
the event.
This year, AFO had come up with an
entirely new concept, the Fan Film Contest followed by the AFOscars. Earlier
in the year, fans were asked to submit fan movies based around anime. This
was more then simply anime music videos but was a live action original
production by aspiring directors. Friday night, AFO had shown the various
entries to the fans and tonight they would present awards to the best. |
