MegaCon 2006 Cosplay

For the cosplay contest this year, rather then focusing on getting the best seat for photos, I figured I would sit this one out and stay with my brother and niece.

This year, the contest was hosted by Chris (as seen earlier at AFO) and Stacy from Anime Sushi.

Anime Sushi had come up with a truly innovative idea, right up there with Anime Express' Cosplay in the Round. They had added a catwalk to the normal stage, which allowed contestants to walk out into the audience so that everyone could have a better look. Thanks to this setup, I ended up with a pretty decent seat after all for taking photos of the entrants who made use of it.

First up was the youth competition.

And the winner for the youth division was Sakura from Tsubasa Chronicles.
