Wasabi Anime hosted a 48 hour Sailor Moon
marathon that started Friday afternoon and continued through Sunday
afternoon. In the offerings were Sailor Moon Stars, all the current episodes
of the live action Sailor Moon now airing in Japan and several Sailor Moon
related panels. Adam and I showed up in time to watch the 6 episode mini-arc
that finished off the SuperS season.
Friday evening, WA hosted a Sailor Moon
trivia contest. I had briefly considered competing, but opted out at the
last minute. Good thing as the level of questions were far beyond my limited
knowledge. Many of the questions were really hard, dealing with attack names
belonging to minor bosses and secondary characters.
In the end, there was a clear winner, the
young lady holding up the prize of live action Sailor Moon VCDs had a
staggering knowledge of all aspects of Sailor Moon, both from the anime and
the manga. Congratulations to her!
