After checking out the rest of the convention, we moved to Spruance Hall for the cosplay contest.

Josh and I look down from the second floor hallway as contestants and attendees start to arrive.

It was now almost 9 PM. The early cosplay contests at Anime Express always took place late in the evening. On the other hand, they were so small that they rarely lasted more then 30 minutes.

Above we have Eva Pilot 6 (center) and Ryo-Ohki (right) from Tenchi Muyo!

To the left is Shampoo (left) from Ranma as well as an original manga character she created for her friend, Shania Lilly.

Our own little animarathon group gathered at one corner of the main floor.

More folks arrived and made themselves at home as we waited for the contest to start.
